Four hand painted wall plates depicting the four seasons. The winter has glistening snow, each plate is very detailed and painted with muted tones to fit any decor style. These are signed by the artists on the back a shown: 2 are signed by "Scotland S.D." and all four "by Florence". The wall plates are made of porcelain, painted in a terracotta color prior to addition of other colors. The condition is spectacular given their age, with some minor chips to the fronts as shown. The seasons are depicted in a relief design.
Byron Molds are manufactured in the Netherlands by the famous doll supply company, Poppengilde. Byron molds are very high quality, created from the same plaster Byron has traditionally used in their products.
